2014 FIRST Robotics Competition FRC Day 1 in Salt Lake City

Day 1 of the FRC Competition in Salt Lake City, Utah. Wow! Many great robots took to the competition floor for their first movements and trial runs. Some worked well, others moved around a bit, and others… well, some didn’t move at all. That’s okay, the ‘pits’ were humming with students working on and improving their machines. I saw a lot of creative designs. Here is a link to some photographs of many of the robots. I look forward to the competitions on Day 2, and the Finals on Day 3.
